How to Enable Location Services and Give Your Browser Access to GPS Information?

On Android Devices

Automatic Prompt

  1. Open the Browser:

    • Open the browser app you want to give GPS permission to (e.g., Chrome, Firefox).
  2. Visit a Website:

    • Go to a website that requires your location (e.g., Google Maps).
  3. Allow Location Access:

    • When prompted, select “Allow.”

Manual Settings

  1. Open Settings:
    • Tap the “Settings” icon on your home screen.
 
  1. Apps & Notifications:

    • Select “Apps & notifications” or “Applications.”
  2. Select the Browser:

    • Scroll and tap the browser app (e.g., Chrome, Firefox).
  3. Permissions:

    • Tap on “Permissions.”
  4. Location Permission:

    • Toggle the “Location” permission to “On.”
  5. Enable GPS:

    • Go to “Settings” > “Location” and toggle it on.

On Apple Devices

Automatic Prompt

  1. Open the Browser:

    • Open Safari or the browser app you are using.
  2. Visit a Website:

    • Go to a website that requires your location (e.g., Google Maps).
  3. Allow Location Access:

    • When prompted, select “Allow While Using App.”
