How we can help you?

CSN, or Citizen Surveillance Network, is a network of surveillance cameras spread throughout the country to enhance the security of both you and your community.

  • This is not an idea, it’s a functional system that is already providing positive results in areas such as Tunapuna and Sangre Grande.
  • The TTPS will have 24/7 access to the cameras to assist in investigations.
  • We safeguard your privacy. If the camera shows part of your home or business that you would like to keep private, we can blur the footage. However, if an incident does take place, we have provided them access to the clear, unaltered footage.
  • The camera footage is recorded at three separate locations.
  • In the event the camera gets damaged, it will be repaired within 48 hours.

Having your own surveillance system is good, and it allows you to keep an eye on your property. But what keeps an eye on you and your family when you are not at home? That’s where we come in. As our project grows, you become safer, wherever you go.

We use special cameras that allows us record at three different locations. Also, as owners of the cameras, we are responsible for any defects or accidents, and will fix any problems quickly without any additional costs to you.

The cameras are 5 Megapixel.

We have customers who have had incidents happen close to them, have seen the effectiveness of the system, and would choose to upgrade. This can be done at any time.

If you sign up for a particular package such as a Gold package, but then realise that two other neighbours want to join so you all pay $66, then that is fine, we will work with you. In that case, however, it may be best that the two new customers pay $99 each, and you continue to pay $199, so we have two cameras installed facing both directions.

The Government is installing cameras nationwide, and they are covering a lot of the major roads and intersections. Our cameras are installed closer together, and we also provide coverage everywhere, even on minor roads and private communities. Some would argue that they are not participating in this project because it’s the government job. But its only so much the government can do, and we need to protect ourselves as best as we can. And if this means installing burglar-proofing and CCTV in our homes, alarms in our cars, then this initiative is just one additional step we can take to protect ourselves.

Keep in mind that the TTPS and the National Operation Centres would have access to both the governments cameras, as well as our cameras, allowing for better crime detection, which can lead to crime reduction.

We are certainly not claiming to have the answer to solve all our country’s crime problems, and this is the be-all and end-all solution. We do however know that this system has already proven itself that it can make a difference, and we welcome any questions or concerns that you may have.

Bronze Package

This is for three persons sharing one camera. You and two of your neighbours each pay a monthly fee of $66 towards community security.

Silver Package

This is for two customers and the cost is $99 per month per customer for one camera and you get perks.

Gold Package

This is where one customer sponsors a camera on their own, and the price is $199 per month along with monthly perks.

The bronze package was created as a cost-effective way of adding security to your community. When a camera is installed on someone’s property, that person gets a view that they would have gotten on their own if they installed their own camera.  If someone two houses down were sharing that bronze camera, that person would now have a view that they couldn’t see on their own. We consider this a security risk.

Additionally, the view the other persons would be getting would not be blurred, as it comes directly from the camera.

Lastly, everyone who logs into a camera uses up the bandwidth of the person where the camera is installed, and this isn’t fair to the person supplying the internet and location.

Yes, a site visit is conducted before installation, and we will work with you to find the best camera position for all customers involved. We determine the location based on the number of cameras being installed in the area, and this also determines the direction. For gold customers, we make our recommendations the same way, but you can tell us exactly what you want to see, even if it is within your property alone.

The pre-installation team and security consultants specialises in positioning the cameras for optimal coverage, whilst the installation team specialises in quick, neat installations.

Installation is usually done within three days after the initial site visit, and the camera will be recording within 24 hours.

There are many reasons someone may choose not to join. They may not be able to afford it or simply don’t like their neighbours or the Police. However, we have proven that CSN is an effective tool in crime detection, and if you can afford to pay $66 or even $199 to help your family and your community, then that’s the most important factor.

What are Customers saying about CSN.

Since joining CSN, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in neighbourhood security. The surveillance cameras are highly effective, providing us with peace of mind. The off-site recording feature is a game-changer, and the customer support team is always responsive and helpful. I highly recommend CSN to anyone looking to enhance their community’s safety.
